I found these beautiful soaps in my favorite store in Dublin yesterday, Avoca. If anyone ever comes to Ireland, Avoca is a must. It’s an adorable Irish run boutique filled to the brim with beautifully packaged soaps, handmade scarves, and adorable kitchen accessories.
This soap by The Handmade Soap Co. is just one of the many brands Avoca carries. I love this one though because it looks very vintage. It’s been modeled after old apothecary/barber shop style soaps and I love it.

We found these Game of Thrones series of minimal posters. Thought you’d appreciate them, since we’re a day away from a new episode. The artist is Thomas Gateley and you can find the full set of 43 (!) posters in Thomas’s Flickr account

Peter Tarka Presents - Typography (from the Greek words τύπος (typos) = form and γραφή (graphe) = writing) is the art and technique of arranging type in order to make language visible. The arrangement of type involves the selection of typefaces, point size, line length, leading (line spacing), adjusting the spaces between groups of letters (tracking) and adjusting the space between pairs of letters (kerning). Type design is a closely related craft, which some consider distinct and others a part of typography; most typographers do not design typefaces, and some type designers do not consider themselves typographers. In modern times, typography has been put into motion—in film, television and online broadcasts—to add emotion to mass communication.

GMD Year 1 - We had to choose a current state of “Emergency” so my group chose the drought problems that England was “having”.
Thought a pun would approach the subject differently.
Done in Illustrator and Photoshop.
